Individual students may come in before or after school or anytime with teacher's permission. Books are checked out for a two week period. They may be renewed if a student does not finish their book in two weeks. They will not be allowed to check out materials if they have any overdue books. Once the book is returned, the student will be able to check out again. Lost Books If a student loses or damages a library book, they will be charged the replacement cost of the book. Library bound books are more expensive than trade books, so please work with your child to create a special place to store their books. When choosing a location, make sure it is away from younger siblings, pets and food or drink. Book bags are a perfect place for your child to have access to them at school and at home. Placing the book in a gallon size baggie is an extra level of protection from food and drink spills inside the book bag. Moving? If you move during the school year, please make sure that all WJES library and text books are returned before withdrawing your child. |
